Just a friendly reminder, today is off-off-year Election Day here in the States. (That means your vote is slightly less statistically insignificant than usual!) If you happen to be a resident of New York City you can throw your vote away in one of the most fantastic ways ever: by voting Charles Montgomery Burns for mayor.
Not convinced? Well, you should be, these guys set up a website, a Facebook page, and even made some pretty good videos. We published an editorial. All those things smack of effort. All you’ve got to do is write in a guy’s name: Charles Montgomery Burns. That’s only 24 characters, you could fit it into a Twitter message five times!
So when you seal yourself in the voting cubicle, do the right thing and vote for a fictional mayor for New York City.
