Tonight’s Zombie Simpsons will probably engage in a simplistic racial fairy tale that would make James Cameron blush, except that they don’t have any fancy graphics to make it all okay. Other than that, I don’t have much else to add, so here’s Simpsons Channel with the quickie description:
When Lisa discovers that her Southern ancestors helped a slave named Virgil (guest voice Wren T. Brown) escape to freedom, she presents her family’s story during Black History Month.

Judging by that first picture, it looks like a new and exotic way to essentially say “Marge and Homer love each other”. Also, I do wonder whether Lisa’s story will mean that white people stuff ends up being the focus of Black History Month in the Simpsonverse. You know, a celebration of black history, let me tell you all about my white forebears and this black guy they knew. The show has not often gone into the subject of racism, so I wonder if they might just ignore it in favour of something more white and less hard to make cheap jokes about. But, I shall see reviews and screengrabs before making a decision about watching it.
You should rename the preview pics “Sunday Bloody Sunday”. :P
