“What the hell are you reading books for?” – Homer Simpson
Funny how every time a character holds/eats a sandwich they (the sandwiches) always seem so big.
Classic Season 5 Homer – eating twice as much food as necessary and reacting with confusion at the concept of learning.
But more importantly they still keep Homer from being a jerk and an ass (a jerk-ass if you will), which is why it works out so well.
America, this is you.
I like the condiments being out since it shows that he actually made the sandwiches and took that entire time before mouthing off to Bart.
This reminds me of that classic Bill Hicks bit about the time he was reading (unproudly) in a Waffle House, check it out!
