      That’s how you do dark comedy- kid Moe murdered another child, but it’s funny rather than making me feel depressed or weird,

   It always bugs me in Zombie Simpsons how they show Moe to be around the same age as Homer in flashbacks. If Moe was one of the Little Rascals and this scene was from a 1995 episode he’d be in his late sixties or early seventies. Alfalfa would have been 68 at the time this episode aired. He was tragically shot and killed in a dispute over some money when he was in his early 30’s.

      Are we supposed to believe this is some sort of magic bartender? Boy, I hope someone got fired for that blunder

   It’s kind of weird how this scene has almost nothing to do with the rest of the episode.

      That’s pretty common in pre-Zombie Simpsons. The difference is that this is the kind of filler that a) is funny, b) is short, c) it’s close enough to the A or B plot that you’ll probably won’t register as filler, d) is really funny.
