      Nah. I think it’s funnier when characters on this show suffer some tragic, apparently fatal mishap (see Moleman getting the chair) and then showing up just fine in another episode, like nothing ever happened.

      Of course, this only works when it’s a quick gag and not the major focus of an episode. And not cool when they bring back characters that should have remained retired forever. (Fuck you, Zombie Simpsons, still not going to forgive the Lunchlady “Dora” bullshit.)
