There won’t be any Crazy Noises this week. We had a schedule conflict and, since we’ve got more weeks left until Zombie Simpsons returns than we do episodes in Season 9 remaining, we were going to have to take one off sooner or later. Which is not to say that things will be going dark around here. Later today we should have a new (and only semi-stolen) segment, and I’m sure we’ll come up with something for the rest of the week. Part Two of Lies Make Baby Jesus Cry for the movie will be done sometime before the end of the Holocene epoch, but probably not this week.

Is your plan to cover the whole of season 9? I quite like watching the episodes before I read the crazy noises :)
The plan is to do all of Season 9 except “Lisa’s Sax”, which we all agreed didn’t have a whole lot of problems. Given that we’ve got more time than episodes, we might do it just to finish the job. We skipped a bunch in Season 8, but those were all ones where we didn’t think there’d be much negative to talk about. Even some of the ones we did do ended up being dull conversations:
Me: I like this episode.
Mad Jon: Me too. Part X is hilarious.
Dave: True. Part Y is also very funny.
Me: Agreed.
The six we haven’t done from 9, besides “Lisa’s Sax” and assuming I haven’t missed something, are:

Natural Born Kissers
The Principal and the Pauper
This Little Wiggy
Trash of the Titans
We’re holding “Principal and the Pauper” until the end for the same reason we held “Homer’s Enemy” last summer. It seems like the episode that was the most indicative of what was to come.

I’d have to agree with Lisa’s Sax too, I’m quite fond of that one.
Man I remember watching Bart Carny and thinking “what the hell has happened to my favorite show?” I didn’t see most of season 9 during it’s initial run but I did see that episode. It was horrible.
