Mmm, only 35 calories…
I know a guy who constantly keep typing the calories into his smartphone after every meal. Except he’s not getting any skinnier.
Many people often fforget to count the calorie intake in items such as fruit, and
not really hidden knowledge, but a surprisingly
high amount of daily calories originate from carbohydrates.

If Homer lost the donuts and kept the pork chops, the weight would start to come off. Take it from someone who’s been there: sugar and starchy carbs are the enemies of a healthy diet.
If you eat meat and don’t exercise regularly, you’re just building up protein fat. And yes, it exists.
As a diabetic I concur.
…And he should probably eat some vegetables along the way, too, lest he want to develop gout or any other risky diseases (HBP, high cholesterol) that could come his way.
An healthy diet (and moderation) is ultimately the best solution here.
Actually, one could guess a diet humans must follow by the structure of our teeth. I’ve read it somewhere and it kinda goes like this: 1/4 meat, 1/4 cereal, 1/4 vegetables, 1/8 fruits and 1/8 dairy products. You drink one grass of water before and one after each meal. And, like I mentioned above, you have to exercise as to burn at least 250 calories every day.
