Sunday Preview: Peeping Mom

Bart’s tall tale about not being involved in a bulldozer accident is a doozy, but a skeptical Marge decides to dog him all over the place until he ‘fesses up. Meanwhile, Flanders gets a new dog which leads Homer to overlook Santa’s Little Helper.

I wonder if there will be as many horns as the One Bad Episode from season 7.  Who am I kidding, of course there will be.  Also, I am offering even odds on Flanders’ new dog being named “Laddy”.

    1. The One Bad Episode is the term used by some folks around here for Marge Be Not Proud.

      1. The Simpsons hasn’t had any real background/diegetic music in ages, so I wouldn’t worry about the horns.

    2. The episode with Laddie was season eight’s The Canine Mutiny. I thought that episode was pretty average. I didn’t even know FOX had new episodes of their shows on last night, which is a good thing for The Simpsons, since the less attention you give it, the further it will fade into obscurity. However, that means I missed “Bob’s Burgers” and “Last Man on Earth” and those shows are actually good.

      1. Fortunately for you, there was no new episode of Bob’s Burgers last night. According to the IMDb, there will be a new one next Sunday.

Bob’s Burgers has really grown on me, I like it so much more than modern Simpsons.

  1. I just wanted to see the couch gag.

It was short and actually had something to do with the couch!

  2. I’d rather watch something called “Peeing Mom” instead. Yes. I’m at THAT level regarding the show.

    1. Your friendly neighborhood porn site should help with that.

Oh, and the new dog Flanders has is named Baz. Thanks, Wikipedia.

          1. While I’ve heard of “Kaz,” I’m not familiar with “Baz.” I’ve also heard of “Boz.”

    1. I don’t think Charlie would do that. If anything, he’ll probably use that season 10 episode where Bart cares for the bird eggs that have lizards in them or a random episode for some inconsequential scene no one with half a brain would give a cheap about.

        1. Charlie has used episodes that he’s not crazy about against the episodes he’s complaining about.

            1. “They Saved Lisa’s Brain” was used for a comparison between guest stars appearing in an episode while having a purpose at the same time they’re satirized, and guest stars appearing for no reason while being the same characters they are in real life.

“The Collector”‘s segment from THoH X was used too. Technically he didn’t use the whole episode as a comparison (and he likes “The Collector”), but… well, it’s from Season 11.

        2. Why? Because it’s a rehash of Marge Be Not Proud or because it’s the last time we hear the silver tones of Phil Hartman as Troy McClure?

        1. It could have achieved that by not airing at 8:00pm, like Diggs did. In fact, with FOX trying to revamp its line-up, moving The Simpsons out of its timeslot could be the key to killing it permanently.

          1. LOL, even FOX doesn’t give a FOX about this show…
Hello, Mr. Jean? A clear message here?!

    1. I thought you said poor porn ratings lol.

Also Stan their supposedly is a lost Simpsons episode mocking Dylatov Pass incident in Russia, part of a lost 3 story arc a friend told me that works at FOX, wanted you to know.
