“Homer, that’s supposed to be leather patches on a tweed blazer, not the other way around. You’ve ruined a perfectly good jacket.”
“Ah, incorrect, Marge. Two perfectly good jackets.”
“Now what is a wedding? Well, Webster’s dictionary describes a wedding as: the process of removing weeds from one’s garden.”
The ending where Homer admits he is completely dependent on Marge is one of themes that ZS loves to continuously run into the ground over and over again.
So, you’re saying that everything seasons 1-5 had has been run into the ground in later seasons, meaning that the show should have stopped after season 5.
No comment on last night’s ZS episode?
I am going to assume it sucked and wasn’t really worth talking about.
It was… Okay. This season seems to be mostly mediocre, which is at least a step up from the last fifteen or so. Maybe in another twenty years, we’ll have a new golden age.
I thought it was okay too. It felt like it was written in reaction against the unrealistic sci-fi elements that dominate the other future episodes.
“Mostly mediocre” means that the writers have given up…or know the end is near for the show and are trying to kiss the viewers asses with somewhat watchable episodes. I say, “Don’t buy into this bullshit. Put on Netflix, Hulu, or Youtube, watch a sports game, take a walk, read a book, talk to family — do anything to avoid Zombie Simpsons.”
I thought it was pretty good for its current era. I’d suggest you give it a chance.
Good for ZS means I wasn’t embarrassed while watching it. Can’t wait to watch The Last Man on Earth I missed.
