“I don’t wanna play with Milhouse.” – Bart Simpson

  1. It’s cute because Bart and Maggie hardly ever spend time together, and funny because he really is a bad influence.

    1. This show had a strange power to express cute, intimate moments between its main characters than in other animated (and non-animated) shows. I do remember that scene from “The PTA Disbands” when Marge and Bart are seen in an unusual and intimate but non-sexual (unless you have a very dirty brain) and plausible position, the kind of scene you wouldn’t see in a typical TV show or movie (I’m talking of the “kids have been doing that one since my days” shot). Even this was addressed in the comments sections of this DHS post: https://deadhomersociety.com/2014/11/19/compare-contrast-pranking-the-new-teacher/ (what happened to torbiecat?)
