Another brilliant cameo. Short and sweet, really funny and often cut in syndication because of the swears.

Perfect appearance. And I liked how all 4 members got to say something.
This scene was left intact in the syndicated version. About 90 seconds of comedic gold was flushed down the toilet to make room for advertisements to tell people about local car dealerships and fabric softener in this particular episode. Legitimately-elected president Bush being kicked out of the party, Professor Frink’s giant robot teddy bear, Homer in a recording studio singing about a big mac, Homer attempting to get Maggie to play with a cardboard box, and Burns and Smithers attempting a sitcom were all trashed for nothing. Months of tireless work animating these wonderful scenes were just thrown away. I’m glad that I taped these episodes when they first aired and never forgot about these scenes between the time when the episode originally aired and when the whole season was released on DVD intact.
Wow, I need to go dig out my DVDs. I’m so lazy.
This is my absolute favorite birthday parody ever, and the Simpsons actually has a lot of good ones, so that’s hard to choose, but it’s just so perfect. The “you’re the birthday boy or girl” scene probably comes in a close second.
