Fantastic line. I especially love when he tries to hug Bart afterward, and he thinks it’s a trick.
For all of Homer’s jackassery (jerkassery?) in this episode, it’s still really good.
Yeah Homer acts that way because of how he was treated as a child. It’s actually quite sad but at least he’s not being an asshole for no reason.
