Happy 30th anniversary to “Moaning Lisa”!
I know this episode will often get overlooked when people make their list of the “Top [Number] Simpsons Episodes”, but I think it should be mandatory (re)viewing for anyone who calls themselves a fan. They handled a serious subject matter with proper care and dignity, yet still managed to make the episode funny–without resorting to trite, obvious moralizing, or flat-out ignoring the main plot in favor of zany shenanigans.
Are jazz men people to be feared 😂
