I love Barney’s rain-slicked hair.
If memory serves, they never showed that particular scene on free to air TV over here, so I remember taking a massive thrill upon first seeing it.
It was definitely cut the very first time the episode was shown on Channel 10 (all the stuff with Homer and the cardboard box was cut too) but subsequent screenings might have re-instated it. The full version of the episode obviously plays on Fox 8.
This one had a ton of syndication cuts here in the States, but I don’t think that was one of them. SNPP seems to agree: http://www.snpp.com/episodes/scg-5.txt.
