Believe it or not, visiting this site has actually improved my view on the Season 9-11 stretch. Since Season 10 was the first DVD set I got (Christmas gift), I’ve been through it and knew and am now pretty familiar with it, as it was the only Simpsons DVD set I had.
Since visiting this site, I’ve come to recognize (for the most part) some of the better lines that made it into Season 10, and this is one of them.
I’m looking forward to Crazy Noises for Season 10 to notice the parts that are genuinely funny. Mind you, Season 10 isn’t very good, but at least it’s not a 100% complete waste.
Technical question: who decides what quotes from season 9 and up become QotD, since obviously they become increasingly hit-or-miss. Group consensus?
We’re not nearly that organized. As Mr. Incognito said, there are some good jokes in Season 10 and if one of us happens to think of one, it becomes a quote of the day. There’s really nothing more to it than that.
