I thought that if there was ever a quote from Season 10’s otherwise forgettable “Mom and Pop Art,” this would be it. At least here Moe is still the dirtbag we all know and love, right?
If they did this joke today the punchline would be Moe saying “Uh-huh, so, uh, I’m gonna go kill myself and cry at how lonely I am.” And this would be happening in the Simpsons’ house. And his appearance there would be completely unexplained. And he’d be talking to the cast of some other show, ‘not’ playing themselves. And this would be their only appearance in the episode, despite all the promotion being based on them. And then Homer’d hit himself on the head with some blunt instrument. And then… well, I don’t know, this joke’s gone on too long. Not as long as a Zombie Simpsons joke, but still.
Ah, a Season 10 episode was wasn’t completely mediocre or shitty. I love Homer’s dream sequence =D
