YOLO_promo_5

Marge convinces Homer to invite an old pen pal to stay with them, an item that was on a to-do list he created as a 10-year old. Meanwhile, Lisa is instrumental in revising the school honor code.

Oh goodie. Marge for some reason is encouraging Homer to be even more zombie-homer-ish. That outta work out for all involved.

Nothing about that screenshot or summary makes me want to see the episode. It’s like in Futurama, when we get to watch Calculon do his taxes. It’s the exact opposite of what we came to see.

I heard that Llewellyn Sinclair is going to be in the episode.

OH NO! They are going to ruin him!

That guy’s eyebrows were part of his eyes! Either that or he was eye shadow.

This one was slightly better than average due to some better than usual direction and some pretty well done animation during the wingsuit flying scene. I expected some sort of reference to the movie “The Gypsy Moths” but I guess a random throwaway reference to Rocky & Bullwinkle is more up to speed with the current ZS.

The resolution in this one was pretty sloppy, with the B-plot and A-plot sort of randomly ending. And of course they just HAD to throw in wacky invincible cartoon Homer falling in a way in which he certainly should have died, or at least been seriously injured instead of just….stunned? Really lame ending to both plots, though the final scene with Llewellyn Sinclair slightly redeems it. Though it probably would have been better if the whole episode WAS a dream, would have at least made more sense.

    “Yolo.”

Zombie Simpsons has officially become that uncool parent who desparately tries to become hip with the kids. In other words, they’re like Homer in “Homerpalooza”- minus taking cannonballs to the stomach.

Sadly, but unsurprisingly, much less amusing than Homer in that episode.
