didn’t realize that this was the same joke as homer’s old principal (Dondelinger) thinking of all the women he could’ve talked to but didn’t.
It was funny when Marge does it, but not when Dondelinger does it.
Probably because
1) We don’t know what Marge is thinking about; yet Dondelinger describes each opportunity
2) We know Marge, and love Marge so we share in her enjoyment; Dondelinger? No one knows him really, so you can’t really relate to him
3) Look how content Marge looks; Dondelinger looked full of regret – I mean, I guess I would have been regretful too, but regret doesn’t translate well into comedy
4) The latter was from ZS. This is what you get when you use a is-that-a-plunger-stuck-to-your-head joke too early in the show.

can you just admit you couldn’t think of a third reason but wanted to bash zombie simpsons anyway
i admit nothing!
don’t try to mask your regret with humor, that wouldn’t be funny, remember?
Burn!
….I have nothing better to do.
