  1. Even in an unusually short episode like this where the writers actually had to make a post-episode sketch to fill time, it’s all still funnier than any recent ZS episode combined (“Everyone Loves Ned Flanders” included).

    I just love the follow-up scene later where we see the end-result of Krusty abusing the nicotine patches. “Ugh… I think there’s a spot on my butt…”

    1. Wouldn’t all those nicotine patches on Krusty give him an overdose and kill him (cf. “1000 Ways to Die” story about a female smoker who puts too many nicotine patches on her body so she can quit after her boyfriend tells her that he can’t stand her cigarette habit, yet has no problem with her being a sex addict)?

      Oh, right. It’s a cartoon and cartoons don’t have to be 100% realistic (most, anyway).

    1. it’s because the patch isn’t releasing nicotine into his body fast enough, so he starts licking the patch to get it more quickly
