One thing I’ve always wondered since I rewatched these two episodes… did they reuse Bart’s scream at the end of this segment for “Bart Sells His Soul” when he awoke out of his dream with the standard scream? Those two sequences looked strikingly similar to me…
As for me today, I think I’ll kick off Halloween today by watching the Treehouse of Horror episodes in a row all the way through X. Shouldn’t take more than three hours, hopefully. Here’s hoping!
(And since I won’t likely get a good opportunity to bring this up before its exact date: I hope you guys use a quote from the Shary Bobbins episode when Maggie Roswell’s birthday comes. I had no idea she had a “Starring” role in that episode until recently!)
Yeah, they reused that scream on Season 7, but at least they mixed it with the new animation a little better than usual. And yeah, I’m also making a THoH marathon too (but I will stop at THoH VII, since I don’t know any post-S8 DVD).
I hope Groening knows that Halloween is Scottish in origin and the Irish made Halloween popular here.
