A couple of things:
1. I never realized/knew that she (the newly-hired waitress) was supposed to be a parody of Shelley Long.
2. The woman in the background looks like a female Carl; or a grown-up version of Janey Powell.
3. Hahaha @ Moe’s full name being Morris.
His real name’s Momar Szyslak, and I don’t care if he himself says he’s Dutch. That name’s Albanian like applesauce.
wait, didn’t he have an Italian accent as a kid and he conscience scolded him for losing it?
He was an illegal inmigrant who passed the same U.S. citizenship Apu did in Season 7.
I thought Shelly did the voice, sigh.
I think in the commentary for the episode it was mentioned Sam Simon wrote Not Shelley Long’s dialogue for authenticity, because he’d written for “Cheers.”
