Funnily enough, Jean, Reiss, and co. actually did get Ricky Lake to make a guest appearance a few months later in one of their Critic episodes for S2.
…Er, whoops, apparently the talk show host here was supposed to represent Sally Jesse Raphael, according to SNPP, so my comment above had nothing to do with anything. My bads!
Anyways, always liked the Southern accent touch on this gal. I wonder who voiced her? SNPP indicates it was Maggie Roswell.
The best one was the movie they released actually based on that story, where “Homer” tried to rape the babysitter.

Funny enough, I think this episode is even more relevant today than it was when it aired. With the internet, it’s so much easier for people to get outraged and mob up based on a misunderstanding.
Uh, yeah. The DVD commentary even said so (before adding that tabloidization of the media actually has worsened since this episode aired).
