Oh boy Season 28…
Dunno why but your comment reminded me of this scene from “Lisa the Simpson”:

-Marge: “I was really starting to enjoy Ethnic Mismatch Comedy #644. I’ve never heard so many Viagra jokes in 30 seconds.”
Jeez, I mean “They Saved Lisa’s Brain”. Somewhat similar initial setup (Lisa’s intelligence vs the world) so it confused me.

Marge is putting up with it, but very unhappy to be doing so. From here we get Homer haplessly trying to deny that Lurleen bought him the suit, and then we get into one of the show’s old, classic running jokes: Homer justifying his current stupidity by saying it’s his boyhood dream.
