Apart from the hilariously bad accents (sounded more like Michael Caine than Paul Hogan), this episode was a fully accurate depiction of Australian life at the time.

Someone’s in denial.
Canberra was and is frequently overrun by wildlife, and in the 90s you could not get decent coffee for love or money. And if the flag doesn’t actually have a bare ass and boot upon it, that’s only because Malcolm Turnbull is holding the concept in reserve, pending his next bid to ditch the monarchy and turn Australia into a republic.
