Always loved that gag. I’d listen to an egg-council mascot tell me about cholesterol and such.
And who could forget the classic line later on:
“Why don’t those stupid idiot’s let me in their crappy club for jerks?”
“You’d better run, egg!”
This is one of my favorite lines to quote.
Oh and don’t forget that the Egg is also a Stonecutter!
The Egg Man is in “Simpsons Tapped Out.” If you tap it, it falls on its back and the legs flail about like a turtle. It’s kind of fun.
Am I the only one who thought this was a little too weird and random? It feels like it belongs more in a Zombiesode than the show proper, but at least it’s brief.
It is weird and random, but it works a lot better than it would in ZS because those kinds of jokes were rare. So it has more impact in classic Simpsons than it does in a show where really crazy, random, over the top things happen all the time.
