Was this just a quick jab at a slow food business, or is there more depth to this gag that I’m not seeing/remembering?
You know what, I think I can find a deeper meaning to this joke. Laura specifically says when she and her father would eat that food, and her parents are devoriced. So “from my own experiences” her parents my have devoriced from a bad investment on her fathers part opening a small busines and lost tones of money, but would try to support people in the same failing boat such as Two Guys From Kabul… or its just a random joke about slow food business.

Though he never left behind any legacy— no children, no marriages, no job, and more or less no impact whatsoever on the face of the galaxy— it should be remembered that Ryan dedicated his life’s work to getting angry online over cartoons, which was an importan— ah, a living.

Was it a cry for help? Was his spending all of his life getting worked up over people not liking a fictional show the same way he did online a plea for attention? Many believe yes. But still, let us not dwell on the past, but rather the present. Our dear Ryan is gone, taken from us at the age of 55, getting so angry online he suffered a heart attack.
I just need to be loved. For the love of God, please love me.

Pretty sure the joke is most Americans don’t like that type of “ethnic food”, hence why business is bad.
Have you heard the news? The Simpsons’ DVDs are now being produced again starting from Season 18. https://twitter.com/AlJean/status/888845908745388032
Seeing that many people excited over Zombie Simpsons was really disappointing.
Obviously the unstated bad news is that now they’re forced to make even more unwanted DVD commentaries again.
I can’t wait for them to continuously cover John Cage’s 4’33” over and over again (and fail).
I heard a couple. Barely any talk about the episode. Swap the commentaries to different episodes and you wont even tell the difference. Just awful.
