Probably the first time I’ve noticed that Flanders has a train set. Perhaps his way of trying to have something in common with Reverend Lovejoy?
no
I, Ryan, who wrote this episode knows with 100% certainty this wasn’t something that ever crossed the other writers’ minds
Why didnt you congratulate the writers’ consistency on how long homerw been neighbors with ned.
Why did you instead talk about some train thing that wasnt even introduced to the show until like season 7.
Can you give me a legitmate response, not just some passive agressive insult under my name.
Or better yet, why am I so angry over comments on a Simpsons site?
Even if you could find any evidence that I’m angry from this exchange, the whole site’s purpose is getting angry over the new episodes, so I don’t know what you’re trying to say.
Yeah! I’m so not angry I have to clarify how not angry I am
You were the one who brought up anger.
Yeah, but the writers never really touched on it after this episode. Also, I thought Homer and Flanders were neighbors a little longer than that (remember the TV tray part on “Lisa’s First Word” where Homer tells the family that the “little while” he had the TV tray is now eight years and counting? Wouldn’t it be nine or 8 and a half since this is a season 5 episode?)
