I was never the biggest fan of Season 1, I accept it has some great episodes and some cool moments but I still think Season 2 was where the series began to close in on God Tier status. This episode was great and this quote is so relatable and perfectly shows that even Homer knows full well that he is merely a cog in the system and all he wants is for it to go as smoothly as possible. I cannot believe this one has not been used on this website yet. The Simpsons is a minefield for quotes and is the gift that keeps on giving.
