Mmm, that’s good Billy!
I remember this episode being previewed months before it aired. For some reason I don’t remember (maybe a sports game?) it was pre-empted but instead of it just being shown the next week for whatever reason Fox didn’t air it till much later. When it aired it was like a lost episode and I was really excited to finally see it.
Dunno why the delayed it so long, but since it was a holdover from season 8 it was in the can at the same time as the first 2 episodes of the season. Season 9 is interesting because besides the 3 O/W holdovers there were the two Jean/Reiss shows which had at least partly been sitting around since approx S7 (Doris Grau in Lisa’s Sax) and I dunno when the two Mirkin episodes were actually produced.
???
Bart the Mother was a holdover from season 8? It’s a season 10 episode showrun by Mike Scully?
I’m talking about “Lisa the Simpson”
Also in “Lisa’s Sax” Bart refers to 1990 as being 5 years ago and the episode aired in 1997. There were 4 episodes produced independently from the rest of the show with the p-code of 3G, The X-Files episode, Sharry Bobbins, Lisa’s Sax, and Simpson Tide. I remember reading the description for the last one a long time before the episode actually aired.
