“It’s valuable, huh?” – Bart Simpson
“Ooh, your powers of deduction are exceptional! I simply can’t allow you to waste them here when there are so many crimes going unsolved at this very moment! Go! Go! For the good of the city!” – Comic Book Guy

Comic Book Guy was the biggest loser in Springfield. Worse than Moe or Kirk. I loved how he thought he was so smart and hated children, even though his business was kid’s comic books.
It really irritates me that they married him off. Totally unbelievable and it ruins the miserable character.
I think the only character they haven’t ruined is Arnie Pye (unless a ZS episode has him living with the Simpsons or some shit.)
“And how am I supposed to that, Kent?! Do I have a magic lens that can see into people’s souls? Well yours would be BLACK, Kent, black as the ace of spades!”
The episode where he got married is the episode that finally made me quit watching the new episodes. Creating a cardboard cutout female character just so she could be someone’s love interest was the last straw for me. All characters do not need to be attached!
I’m surprised it took you that long. They already tried pairing him with Agnes Skinner in a previous episode, for heaven’s sake. But yeah, literally making a Japanese waifu just for him was really pathetic.
But she’s Japanese! Because nerds, right?
This was back in the good ol’ days when CBG could be wittily sarcastic and entertaining, rather than a weak strawman substitute for the audience that the ZS staff trots out to (poorly) attempt to pre-emptively deflect criticism.
