Fuck that’s funny.
Comedy perfection, right there.
One of my all time favorite moments on the show.
Poor Moe. He was the only guy there who actually got dressed up.
Meh.
I don’t think the real Moe would ever go to these kinds of events.
Nah. I think Moe would take any easy way of getting women given the chance.

And I like the way he doesn’t even break his stride, just goes straight to the reject corner.
I would have expected Otto to have at least gotten a bid.
Who knows? Maybe the kinds of women who would go with a burnout like him would never attend such an event like that in the first place.
Aside from that, I love how in-character even the remainder of the rejects corner is, especially Moe’s most frequent patron, Barney. That drunken, hilarious mess! Of course, Moleman is perfectly consistent considering his unfortunate date with a Simpson relative, and Kirk’s always been a great teevee loser. I wonder why Captain McAllister is doing there, though. Probably been away from women too long, I guess.

And either they forgot Frink was married, or his wife divorced him over the baby airplane incident.
Oh yeah, that’s right! I totally forgot about that one. Maybe she just shows up so infrequently that it’s an on again/off again marriage like what happens ever so often in fiction.
On a more frustrating note, you inadvertently reminded me about CBG’s seasonal Selma-like marriages in the past ~2 1/2 decades. I liked him better when he was this pathetic insufferable loner who had to rely upon softcore porn over the internet or pictures in magazines or whatever the hell he could get his fat, greasy, Cheeto-coated palms on to quell his Solo-induced woes (see what I did there?), even in early ZS eps.
Zombie Simpsons has ruined many things, though I must say it’s weird how they enjoy using him as as stand-in character for the audience to shoot down any complaints preemptively, yet they still felt the need to have women throwing themselves at him, judging by your comment. I’m only aware of his weird relationship with Agnes Skinner, which I had blissfully forgotten about until I decided to rewatch that episode, and the really stupid marriage to the Japanese woman who seemed to embody every otaku’s idiotic “waifu” fantasies. So I’m taking it that there have been even more than that?
Well, I still wouldn’t say they ‘threw’ themselves at him, but in ‘My Big Fat Geek Wedding’, he was gonna marry Edna K & in that same ep he did mention having an online gf at some point.

Wait, so before the dreaded Ned+Edna pairing (I refuse to type that stupid portmanteau) they were going to have her marry CBG? What the hell?
Yeah that’s right, even though it was only after blowing off a wedding with Skinner & she wound up calling off marrying CBG in the end anyways. Convoluted & contrived fluff has been ZS’s specialty for a long time now.
That doesn’t even sound like “fluff” so much as mind-numbingly stupid nonsense. The more I hear about this stuff, the more grateful I am for jumping ship fairly early on.
