I know you were being sarcastic. But you still didn’t know that they were parodies of Dead Poets Society. You thought the title of this website was a parody of Dead Putting Society.

I could have posted the “that’s the joke” gif, but I posted this one instead because the other one is used all the time. I knew both are puns of Dead Poets Society. I was merely pointing out that this blog’s name, and most of the blog categories like Crazy Noises, etc, comes from The Simpsons, regardless of the origins of the Simpsons reference.
Considering that it’s not the first time I have seen people telling you’re missing the point, I find your comment ironic. Lol.

The show made so many references and did so many great parodies I wouldn’t get until years later, and then when I finally saw the originals, I could only think of the Simpsons version.
Just yesterday I watched “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet”, then immediately showed the other person “Terror at 5 & 1/2 Feet”. Good times.
