This is one of the weaker Halloween episodes, but this segment is easily the best.
Mmm, caramel cod.
I.dunmo. Fly Bart is pretty memorable and Homer finding uses for the matter transporter that make life even easier for him are pretty funny.
I rewatched this last night, and I still kind of feel the same. Homer using the matter transporter is funny, there are lots of good jokes (“Nice try, Floyd”, Bart taunting the spider), but I guess the drama with the giant fly never really appealed to me. The ending also felt a bit weak. I don’t *hate* this segment (the one with the mutants is worse), but it’s not my favorite either.
