Back when Mr Burns was someone to be feared and not some slapstick outlet.

Plot hole, Mr. Burns didn’t know how to use a phone until the episode “Homer the Smithers”.

I especially like the Burns-like buzzard at the first of this scene, making the moaning (?) sound Mr. Burns always does.

Which one’s Crusher and which one is Low Blow?

I reckon the bald one looks more like a Crusher; hence the other is Low Blow. The more important question, how long before they appear in a Zombie Simpsons crowd scene alongside, I dunno, Princess Kashmir or Mrs Glick or someone else wholly inappropriate? It’s a huge opportunity they’re missing!

I’d go with the bald one as Low Blow. His shaved head makes him look unsavory enough to hit below the belt. The other guy is big enough to just crush people.

The goon with dark hair was in “Blood Feud.” He and Homer seemed to be relatively chummy, although the goon showed no hesitation to inflict violence on Homer. Wasn’t his name “Joey” in that one? Anyway, the goon played poker with Homer and thought he was a nice guy…
