“I have an unorthodox solution: a fantastic voyage, if you will. Three scientists, one a beautiful woman, will be shrunk to microscopic size. They will then rendezvous in Mr. Simpson’s lower colon.” – Professor Frink
“Eww.” – Marge, Bart & Lisa Simpson
“Well, we have had a little trouble finding volunteers.” – Professor Frink

The “April Fool-” explosion never fails to make me laugh.
I have never, ever seen this scene in my life on The Simpsons.
Yeah, just reading it, I’m surprised they were even able to get that on TV in 1993.
Indeed, well said guys. I have seen The Simpsons, every episode, at least 6-10 times or more via syndication and reruns, this scene must have been censored or cut. Also, from Urban Dictionary:
The Simpsons
“One of the greatest TV programmes of all time.
Newer episode’s humour levels are on a par with ‘Will and Grace’ and funerals.”
Agreed.
Frank Grimes was… a great man. A great great man. Amen
This would be an actual episode these days.
Already happened. At least it was a Treehouse of Horror.
Yep, THOH 15, I believe, where they went inside Mr. Burns. Still much better than the farting segment from last year.
Not surprised, honestly. The Fantastic Voyage is one of those stock episodes that every cartoon has to have at least one of.
Yeah, at least there was some certain degree of weird fapability to Marge.
Today they’ll prolly just cram some “Siemens in Pussi” jokes instead, a la Family Guy.
Anyone seen the Mighty Boosh episode based on Fantastic Voyage? it’s really good.
For a long time, I got Fanastic Voyage mixed up with Fantastic Planet. Then I saw both films and… not mixed up anymore! (Fantastic Planet is an avant garde masterpiece, seek it out asap)
