Another scene I have no memory of unless I watch this episode
uncut on youtube or buy this season on DVD.
Jeez. American TV must have hacked these episodes to pieces. We got this scene in Australia even when The Simpsons was being played nightly at 6pm. After the news and before the channel’s crapppy home-made soap opera. They’re just pants.
Wow. That’s some cool info idk about regarding Australia. I think it has to do with syndication here in the states or something of that sort, sex, violence and murder are a big part of American TV, just like the movies, even our free non cable and sat. TV has some raunchy stuff on it esp. in the evening and late at night.
Oh boy, only two hours until Hannibal! I love the Manhunter movies, except, ironically, Manhunter (I also never saw Hannibal Rising.) N.B.C’s output has been surprisingly good this season, so I have high hopes.
15 minutes! I feel like Milhouse waiting for the year 1000000 to cash Bart’s check, unaware that Burns would kill all humanity and turn apes and clones of Homer into slaves by then. Note to the writers on this website: Please compare the show to the movies and see if it is a worthy version or Zombie Hannibal Lecter.
Yes, now, Hannibal Lecter is here! This has been interesting so far, and I appreciate the attempt to develop the characters before introducing the one we really want to see–shows that the writers care about tension and pacing. It has the standard confusion of Autism with Alexithymia, but otherwise is a well-done show and not too much of a procedural.
What site am I on right now?
Wanted to mention: RIP Roger Ebert.
I don’t like his video-games-are-all creatively-bankrupt policy, but I do like his inspiration-for-the-Cinema-Snob policy–what the Hell, R.I.P. Roger Ebert. I wonder what Brad The “Cinema Snob” Jones will say about this.
His memorial was very dignified and respectful: It acknowledged the influence and competence of Ebert, but was not as reverential as most will probably be, acknowledging that Ebert could be repetitive and extreme in his opinions.
Ebert’s greatest gift to us was his trademark “two thumbs up” besides great reviews and opinions on mocvies. Also: I wonder if watching all those movies gave Roger and Gene cancer from all that radiation on their faces.
