“You know, I can’t believe we’re talking about the same movie. I thought McBain was a non-stop rollercoaster of chills, thrills, spills and kills! And that chase at the end, my friend?” – Not Ebert
“Are you nuts? That movie stinks like your creepy one bedroom apartment.” – Not Siskel
“Your mother didn’t think it was so creepy.” – Not Ebert
“My mother, real mature. I’m sick of your grade school insults.” – Not Siskel
“I love watching the bald guy argue with the fat tub of lard.” – Homer Simpson

The one on the left looks oddly like a Muppet in that pose. Mostly the head and the raised hand. Weird when ya pause it like that. And RIP Roger Ebert, of course. A powerful presence, on popular cinema, he had.
Well said, agreed Raiko. Roger was beloved here very much in Chicago (where I live by) everyone from President Obama, Oprah and several other famous people like Steven Spielberg tweeted about his passing yesterday. He will be missed, but the show must go on… “See you at the movies… The balcony is now closed”. RIP Roger, Gene too.
A tribute to Ebert by a hilarious reviewer, of extremely shitty movies, inspired by him: http://thecinemasnob.com/2013/04/04/rip-roger-ebert.aspx

Modern Family is as caring and sensitive as a Neo-Nazi manifesto, and as funny as a Franz Kafka story. Modern Family’s actors can talk their jaws off, but they will never spread anything but hate.
Modern Family in 10 words: I sold missiles to the Nazis–difference was, mine worked
There’s a commentator guy who keeps trying to link Modern Family to Nazis. How is that related to the Simpsons, and where does the link actually come from?
Except Kafka can be funny as hell when he wants to be
Just wanted to mention: I watched this episode again, and after reading the above quotes,
I hope the writers of this episode were not implying that Ebert and Siskel or even these guys
were….Like Smithers. They were married and had wives in real life, as far as I know.
R.I.P. Fat Tub of Lard.
Not Ebert looks closer to Gene Shalit (not to be confused with Siskel) than he does ol’ Roger.
