This episode really is such a classic and a gem from season 2. I remember playing it ad nauseum on VHS back in the early/mid 90’s.
Dan Castellaneta’s acting when Homer reads Flander’s apology is so good. Love the way Homer can barely get through the letter before losing it.
“Dear neighbor! You are my brother. I love you, and yet I feel a great sadness….in my bosom!”
