Homie the Clown13

“Well if we agree, then why are we arguing?” – Homer Simpson

You know, I’ve seen this episode only once. Go figure.

Actually, I’ve never seen Homer vs. Lisa and the 8th Commandment ever.
Actually, I’m happy about that because when I do eventually see it, it will be like watching a new episode, but one that’s actually good!

I remember watching this one for the first time… The clown thing at dinner: priceless. I don’t think there was a single time that I stopped laughing.

I love that the only difference between Homer and Krusty is the hair at the top of their heads.

“…but when I see that look in their eyes, I just know they’re about to jab me with something.”

One of my favorite episodes. I almost laugh non-stop from “Clown College? You can’t eat that” through “You people have stood in my way long enough. I’m going to clown college!”/”I don’t think any of us expected him to say that.” I guess why, is that even when this episode aired, clowns weren’t exactly popular, but Homer thought it would bring glory. You know, the glory of being a clown.

This line also drives home the point that Homer has a tendency to be a mooch, as was done when the show was worth watching.

It’s so well written that at the end Krusty actually tries to sell stupid Homer’s skin to the mafia just to get off the hook. They even fight each other because Krusty’s afraid for his life and Homer’s just a dumbhead.
