This scene gave the world one of my favorite DVD commentary quotes. They get confused over who did the gym teacher’s voice – Matt Groening points out that the fact sheet credits Maggie Roswell, even though it’s clearly Tress MacNeille. To which David Mirkin replies “I know, but these things are often wrong and written by drunks.”
A pretty funny episode, this one, but Homer is absolutely unbearable in it (without even the consolation of a token redemption.)
