Bart can’t stand art class. So he makes a voodoo doll of his art teacher. But when his spell makes her pregnant instead, he becomes a savior to Springfield couples trying to conceive. Then, he’s kidnapped to help conceive a thoroughbred race horse.
Cool. I was hoping there would be some voodoo this season. I guess I am slightly curious to find out what kind of spell Bart was attempting that would backfire and create life. Only slightly though – only slightly.

The Disney one? If so, then yes! Also I recall in the 90’s an a Simpsons episode featuring Itchy and Scratchy making fun of the (Disney) Sorcerer’s Stone as well.

If you want to see a cartoon that has voodoo in it that is actually good wtach The Princess and the Frog. That movie even knows what voodoo really looks like!
Plotline sounds like a ripoff of that time bart became a faith healer….
Okay, I’m going to take a wild guess and say that the whole point they made this episode was so that they could introduce the viewers to Krabappel’s replacement… sigh.
Maybe? Sigh.
A few notes: 1.That voodoo priestess looked like a racist caricature. I am talking LooneyToons shorts that are banned levels of old school racism
2. Why does Bart hate art? In grade school art class was the best because it was a licence to goof off and play with art supplies.
3. That gay horse joke would of been the fucking worst if not for the God awful Modern Family joke.
4. I am not a horse enthusiast but wouldn’t a full grown Clydesdale from Homer’s youth be dead or at the very least look elderly?
5. I didn’t realize The Simpsons were parodying a song from Les Miserable until I saw the French flag. You would think if you are going to do a parody you would pick a more popular song like Master of the House, Castle in the Clouds, or I Dreamed a Dream
6. I’ll be honest a superhero pub crawl sounds like fun but for the writers it was an easy way to kill time and being semi topical due to the popularity of comic book movies.
7. How does Bart not understand what homosexuality is? Does he need another trip to the old gay steel mill? 8. Louise from Bob’s Burgers continues to be a better Bart Simpson than Bart Simpson. Man I love that show!
Looks like merely a handful of our visitors watched last night’s atrocity. I’ve read about the upcoming three eps, and sigh, yes there is the Lego, but otherwise, they all kinda suck… Maybe we should close the season review right after Lego?
