yeah nobody’s laughing now :(
+1
Not true. We’re just laughing at the good stuff (i.e., the classic era)
To be 100% honest while not on the same level as the “good old episodes”, the newest episode was pretty enjoyable. Most of the jokes made me laugh and they where connected to narrative (no “Family Guy” style randomeness untill the very end), plus I ike that they never explained how Bart’s VooDoo worked. Maybe it was just a placebo effect – at least one couple actually got a child – or maybe it was a real deal (much like with “Bart sels his soul”) Since some people actually belive in VooDoo it felt respectful to their relgion.
I hope they will play with idea of Superintendent Chalmers daughter in the future. As far new episodes of the Simpsons go this was the best one in a long, long while…
And yes – Being Polish I was happy to see good old “Polish school of animation” being used in the opening of The Simpsons :)
Am I correct by saying that when you pronounce “oak” in Polish, the “a” in between the “d” and the “b” reads like “awww”?
Nope.
It’s been twenty years. Here we are still laughing at this show.
I have always loved the part in the home movie where Grandpa is laughing at Homer’s beard being on fire.
