One of the last restrained jokes the ever did in one of the last truly joked filled episodes.
Indeed.
By any chance was the “unpleasantness” from “Marge on the Lam” when Homer was thrown out for eating a hot dog (“This is not a Kwik-E-Mart”)? Like how on “Brother’s Little Helper,” Homer said his 10-year ban from the water park ended, which may or may not be connected to the events in “Brush with Greatness.”
And Charlie, you better slow down with these quotes of the day or you’re going to mine the classic episodes dry.
