Thanks for compensating for yesterday’s lack of quote, Charlie!
BTW I think you forgot to tag the episode for the next one (aka today’s real one), “Lisa Gets An A”?
Woo-hoo! Since it’s been a couple days and no one else has seemingly commented here…
I rewatched this episode a couple days ago. I remember being a little pissed at Satan’s Little Helper in this episode as a kid, mostly because I sort of sympathized/empathized with the Simpsons’ family members, because if there’s one thing I didn’t want, it’s for someone/something else to destroy any of my stuff!
But, rewatching this again, I couldn’t believe how much stuff I forgot. And being older now, I couldn’t help but snicker a little when Marge’s quilt was introduced, knowing it would definitely be destroyed later in the episode by SLH. It’s like Chekov’s gun, but for dogs: you don’t introduce one here without having it destroy something!
