I’m debating a little bit on whether I should watch this episode again or not. While I wouldn’t say it’s great, compared to the awful episode that went after this (“Make Room For Lisa”), this is a lot more enjoyable.
It has its moments – it did give the world “I didn’t think it was physically possible, but this both sucks and blows” – but that stupid action climax with the escaped rhinos just goes on forever.
Same here, though my favorite parts are the traffic school sequence, Bart as Baron von Chickenpants, Marge mistaking Courtney Love for Sandy Duncan (and the absurdity of someone like Courtney Love on a Wheaties box), the crappy teacher-run variety show at the beginning, and Homer thinking yelling “Jumanji!” will stop the rhinos because it worked in the movie.
“Ugh, does anything from the movies actually work?” is an extremely useful quote.
How can rainwater hurt a finish? That one sounded like a car salesman in-joke they would tell each other during smoke breaks.
The material is probably so shoddy that rainwater will ruin it. It is an American car after all.
