Shut up! Women can’t work for the police. If you think differently then fuck you.
Women should have customer service jobs and housewife. No hard work. This is for men. Stop shoving your fucking ‘democracy’ everywhere, okay?

Uh, that’s the point, considering how much of a pushover Marge can be, though I think Bart meant it as he never saw Marge as an authority figure outside the home, even though she was kind of one on that episode where she protests against the cartoon violence on “The Itchy and Scratchy Show.”
I like the design of Marge as a cop. Apparently the original design had her police hat perched on top of her usual beehive, but Matt Groening himself nixed that because it looked too goofy, and he thought Marge should have some dignity as a policewoman. Good call, I say.

“Dignity as a policewoman”? After she first came in with a Hard Rock Cafe shirt (or a unicorn shirt if you’ve seen the promos from when it first came on) because the police academy didn’t have a shirt in her size (yet she gets one after the commercial break)? Ha-ha, I say.

Marge can’t be cop. It’s a man’s job. Construction too. Women go make rations, nurse, tailor etc. etc. SHUT UP!

Ouch, Bart, that is just downright cruel.
