“The Burns bear, perhaps the most valuable little bear in the world, could be anywhere.  It could be in your house.  You could be looking at it right now.  It could be right in front of your face as I’m saying this, waggling back and forth, perhaps being help up by a loved one.” – Kent Brockman
“Maggie, I’m trying to watch TV.  Put that moldy old bear down.  Moldy!  Old!  I’m gonna get something to eat!” – Homer Simpson

I have no mouth, and must scream (when watching ZS. The writers are like AM, putting 5 people through insufferable existence (The Simpsons).

Another theory: The actors that played the Simpsons in that one episode are actually playing The Simpsons post season 12. The real Simpsons retired in Kentucky.

Nah. The family fell into comas in Delaware after a freak accident at the screen door factory. They’ve actually been stuck in a dream state… slowly worn down with hollow imitations of their supporting characters and quietly waiting for their misery to finally end.

Yeah, I was wondering about that, but, how do you explain Homer? He didn’t go to the screen door factory because he was washing the hobo and got to talking with him.
