Flamin’ chazwozzers.
I was in Australia a few years ago, mostly Melbourne which I loved and really reminded me of a larger scale Brighton (UK) where I lived at the time. A sports shop in the outskirts of Melbourne had a sign staring:
FAIR DINKUM AUSSIE PRICES
Between that and Safari John, a quizmaster at a backpacker quiz night who just showed me the answers when I asked after a question we missed, it was quite a time for stereotypes.
