poor Rev, 20 years of Flander’s crap would depress anybody.
Considering they made Flanders being 60 years old canon in the nineties (for some reason), Lovejoy must’ve been like 18 years old himself at that time.
I wouldn’t count that one as canon, but even if you did, the show often had a flexible continuity.
You should put in the ellipses to better illustrate Flanders’ hesitation to even say the word “buttocks”, or confess said accidental contact. It’s such a wonderfully dorky and overblown prudish moment of his.
