Quote of the Day

“Oh, everything’s too damn expensive these days. Look at this Bible I just got, fifteen bucks! And talk about a preachy book, everybody’s a sinner! . . . Except for this guy.” – Homer Simpson

      1. This is a weird joke, it feels strange that Homer would buy ANY book whatsoever never mind the Bible but the joke itself is awesome and the reading is pitch perfect.

        1. Extraneous jokes have always been part of The Simpsons, but as long as they’re funny, the audience won’t mind. That makes the extraneous stuff all the more obvious in the later episodes, because it just falls flat more often than not and you’re just sitting there going “Why is this here?”

  1. I think the Latin American dub even better than the original here. “Fifteen dollars! And I don’t like sermons! Everyone in the world is a sinner, except for the one who wrote the book”
